Coaches Registration 2024
The Central Florida Vikings lacrosse program prides itself in recruiting and training the best coaching staff. Our goal is to provide our players with dedicated coaches who first and foremost will focus on training our players to be productive members of our society. This goal can be accomplished through various ways, but we believe through teamwork, dedication, and hard work almost anything can be accomplished.
The training and development of our coaches is also a priority of our program as we believe there are always ways to improve in the coaching field. Coaches will have teams trainings available for them to attend as well as opportunities to learn from collegiate and pro lacrosse coaches.
Experience
We are accepting coaching positions for all experience levels. Coaches will have trainings they need to attend in order to run drills and coach players effectively.
Interested coaches will need to contact a Director to discuss further and set up an interview.
Practices
All practices for our Fall 2024 season will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays at Eastwood Freedom Park.
Practice time will be determined based on the team you are assigned to help Coach.
Requirements
- All Coaches will need to register under the Coaches Registration tab.
- All coaches will also need to be members of USA Lacrosse and complete their Bronze Certification.
- All coaches need to provide the CF Vikings with their US Lacrosse number during their Coaching Registration.
- All coaches will need to complete the US Lacrosse background check
- All coaches will need to complete the Abuse Prevention course
Coaching Placement
Coaches will be placed on teams by the Program Directors preference and need. We will take experience and preference into account, but can't always accommodate.
Please be willing to coach any age group if coaching with our program.
*Please note that we often discourage parents coaching their kids for the 14u and HS teams, unless under special circumstances.

Do I need to have experience coaching lacrosse in order to coach with the CF Vikings?
No, anyone interested in coaching with the team will need to be interviewed by a Director and go through some preliminary trainings to be placed as a coach on the team.
Did I need to play lacrosse previously in order to coach with the CF Vikings?
No, anyone who is willing to learn the game we believe can be taught. We also believe in bringing knowledge from other sports to help enhance our team and players.
Do I have to be US Lacrosse certified in order to coach with the CF Vikings?
Yes, All coaches must go through the Bronze level Certification process as well as complete the following: Purchase the US Lacrosse Coaching Membership yearly, Assign your US Lacrosse membership to the Central Florida Vikings affiliation, complete the background check, and the abuse prevention course.
2024-2025
Coaches must register with our program to confirm US Lacrosse membership and other certifications.
